The options are just insane in the table and it easily gave me another 100+ hours of gameplay in a game that I already have 400+ hours into. Things you wouldn't even think of yourself like changing the items in an enemies loot pool or being able to make all enemies :Badass: versions. It had everything you could possibly want to do in the game. Just for example recently I went back through Borderlands 3 and found a cheat table for it that was one of the most detailed and useful tables you could possibly ask for. Some people create tables that are just mind blowing in their complexity and depth. There are many many people who are SUPER talented and make incredible Cheat Tables for almost every game you can think of. That being said, there is a huge community around Cheat Engine and you don't always have to do it yourself. I don't have to depend on anyone else and I can do it myself.

I don't have to find some sketchy trainer or some virus filled zip file promising hacks that don't work. And that's why Cheat Engine has been such a great benefit for me, because it easily allows me a simple and quick way to go about achieving that objective in almost every single player game to date. If there is a choice for only 1 cheat that you could have in any game I would choose infinte health. Of course you can find money values and stamina and jumps etc etc but those are all what I consider non-essential cheats. You are no longer haulted in progression due to dying. Of course Cheat Engine is capable of far more than that, but for me godmode or infinite health or whatever you want to call it - not dying - basically is the key to extended gameplay. This essentially is "Godmode" at that point and it gives me the freedom to do all the things in games without the problem of dying. In almost every game there is a way to find your health value and then because you know that value you can do what you want with it, be that locking the value or giving yourself extra health etc.

I am not an expert by any means but I understand the basic functions of it from a lot of trial and error mostly and it allows me to do what I consider the single most important "cheat" in any game - health.
But then when I really want to pick through a game and get all the achievements I missed or do a hardest level difficulty run or new game+ or even just mess around in the game to try out stuff I may have missed like weapons or certain parts of levels etc - is when I boot up Cheat Engine. I typically can beat most games without any major problems and get my typical playthrough out of a game.
I am a 100% completion kind of person and love finding secrets. I play all kinds of genre's but my main core choices range from FPS's like Borderlands, Metoidvania's like Hollowknight, Stealth like Hitman and Styx, 2D Side scrolling like Skul: The Hero Slayer, Hack n Slash like Hades and puzzle platformers like Yooka-Laylee and just yesterday picked up Hell Pie. I don't play anything multiplayer/online only anymore - I stick to single player games. It has greatly enhanced my enjoyment levels of almost every game I have purchased. Personally it has been one of the most valuable programs on my computer for 5+ years.
